Hey folks!

It has been some time since I tossed out an update so I’m going to just let loose with the State-Of-The-Event. I will break up the information over a couple of posts in order to avoid “wall of text” burn out.

As it stands Midori is fully booked and all travel arrangements are covered. We will iron out the wrinkles as we go.

First up: The polls are coming down

That’s right folks we have our first two classes selected. Our Lady’s Choice will be Joystick Secrets, and the bondage class will be Scene Dynamics and the Psychology of Rope Bondage.

Thank you to everyone that voted here, and expressed your ideas to me at the Nawayoi Meetings as well as the various munches and events.

Picking The Next Class

I am going to change directions a little on the of the next class we need to pick. Y’all chosing the Scene Dynamics class opens the door to a nice opportunity. There is a pretty strong trend towards people wanting more education in the area of bondage, both with rope and without.

I am feeling that it would be nice to pair the Scene Dynamics class with a hands-on bondage class. One that can enhance the experience of the first class, yet still stand alone for those who are not planning on attending all of the classes.

For a little help in making that happen I asked Midori for her opinion on which classes would work best for that. Here is Midori’s response (the quote is taken from our email correspondance and is pretty much intact except for a little editing to make it fit in the blogging format):

“JoyStick Secrets: How to Thrill a Man is a fun one. Cool.
Scene Dynamics & Psychology of Rope Bondage – also one that I enjoy. It’s a lecture and presentation style. More head and heart than hands. This is good for those at any experience level as well as for both tops or bottoms.

3 hands-on bondage classes that I’d recommend:

Rope Dance - I really love leading this class, so much so that I’ve made it a part of the Rope Bondage Dojo ® curriculum. This class gives people the pleasure of dance in addition to learning the finesse of movement, control and non verbal communication.
Body Harnesses - A fun class that covers varied harnesses from super easy to very pretty, and all really functional. Everyone learns!
Wrapped for Pleasure: Sex Bondage – Technically this isn’t a rope bondage class, but it’s just so much fun! Of course for the rope lovers it’s easy to “just add rope”. It’s all about how to create sex-able, fast position changing, body friendly bondage.

Those suggestions are perfect. Many of y’all have been in a class where I lightly touched on the Rope Dance, this would be a fantastic opportunity to learn from the person that taught me. If you think I did a good job, I can tell you, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!

I am asked about body harnesses on a regular basis, and I was just approached about booking the Wrapped for Pleasure class just last night at the munch.

An Evening of Bondage

All you Las Vegas bondage enthusiats it is time to let me know which bondage class is for you!

Hands-On Body Harness Workshop

Body harnesses are fantastic for creating beautiful, effective, and sexy bondage for all types of bodies and many different sorts of scenes.

You can use a harness for very secure rigging. Or you can make a pretty rope outfit. Create intense harnesses for pain sluts. How about sensual breast bondage? Midori will show you at least 6 different varieties of body harnesses. You can choose the ones you want to practice with attentive supervision from Midori.

Dress & Supplies: Wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. Bring a large towel or yoga mat if you‚d like to use the floor. And, of course, bring rope – the more, the merrier! (Suggested minimum: 3 or 4 pieces of 20, 25, or 30 foot lengths. If the rope is for a smaller person, bring the shorter lengths. For a larger person, bring the longer lengths.)

Midori will have some 25-foot nylon rope for sale. She may also have pre-treated Japanese rope for sale if supplies last.
