1. SEASONS CHAGING – BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN

It’s been an unusually warm August here in San Francisco. Instead of the usual cool fog we’ve actually had weather resembling summer. As the winds shift I wonder what weather September, San Francisco’s traditional warm month, will bring.

I’ve had the rare pleasure of spending much of August here at home. Ok, so I did have those couple of days in LA of shooting an instructional video with Tristan Taormino, and a few days in Montreal for the Kinky Festival weekend, and the week in Prague rope styling and photographing for TheFetishSaloon folks – but still getting to spend 16 days out of 31 at home spoiled me.

But the winds are shifting from the Pacific Ocean and the fall teaching tour season is upon me. Much as I’m melancholy to leave my beloved spouse, crazy kitty kids and the enchanted City behind me, it’s time. It’s also time for me to see my far-flung friends, visit favorite old haunts, new towns, and spend time with fabulous students. There really isn’t anything quite as fun and fulfilling for me as teaching classes face to face. Sure, it’s the electronic age and I should consider more ways to teach via the new media, but then I’d miss all your smiles and twinkles in your eyes.

Even as I may miss my home and family when I’m on the road, each of you that I have the pleasure to meet during my travels bring me joy and give me energy. Same goes for all of you who drop by and say hi in all your face-to-face and digital ways.

The Event FAQ

In this post I want to concentrate on the questions I am getting from you.  So if you have one that is not on this list add it into the comment section and I can edit it into this post.

Where will the event be?

Midori will be teaching her classes at The Onyx Theater which is located inside Commercial Center.  The main entrance for the theater is inside the fetish store called The Rack.

The Rack is located in the NE corner of Commercial Center. The address is 953 E. Sahara Bld. #16. For more information and directions call (702) 732-7225

How much are tickets?

Tickets for all classes are $25.00 each.

Is there a discount for attending all the classes?

I was not able to make that work this time around.  However I do hope to be able to do a discounted rate for future events.

Where do I get tickets?

There are currently three ways to purchase your tickets.

Tickets are available at the counter in The Rack.  See above for a phone number and address for the store.

I also will have tickets available with me at the SinCity D/s munches on Friday nights at the PT’s Pub located on the North side of Sahara Blvd. just South of Decature.  I do work evenings so look for me between 9:00 – 9:30 pm.

Tickets are also available through paypal.  Click here to bring up an email, put Midori Tickets as the subject.  In the letter specify which classes you would like to attend, and how many tickets you would like for each class.  I will then respond with a paypal invoice.  Once payed for your tickets will be available at the will-call counter at The Rack.  You can pick them up anytime before the classes begin.

Is class size limited?

I will be holding the flogging demo to 40 people for the reason that we will need room to swing floggers and practice technique.

Will tickets be available the day of the event?

Absolutely.  No one will be turned away from these classes.

Will vendors be offering any merchandise discounts after this event?

Yes, currently Lady “C” Leather, and The Studio have given me a firm commitiment to give a 10% discount on your next shopping trip if you present your event tickets at the cash register.   I will be handing out thier business cards at the event if you are unfamiliar with these stores.  Hopefully I will be adding to that list.
